I have been enjoying photography for about 18 years now, since I started working as a newspaper writer and photographer. I officially began Sumerlin Photography 16 years ago. 

Over time, I've been very fortunate to learn under a few great photographers, and through a very special aunt, the technical side of this beautiful art.

I LOVE people - I get my energy from you all!  I enjoy capturing beauty in simple, every day moments, as well as in the seasons that shape us - and there are MANY! East Tennessee has always been my home, and it's color and warmth inspires me. I shoot both natural light and strobe; on-location photography.
